IntegraXor 4.1.4340.0 dated 12 Aug 2013 Change Log
The highlight of this release is IntegraXor SCADA is now powered by Google’s V8 Scripting Engine which is the similar engine that runs in Google Chrome. Technically speaking it’s certainly so good and so fast.
The increment of minor version is to indicate on the higher performance, but no compatibility issue for minor version upgrade. We spent huge amount of time & effort to ensure smooth upgrade, so user can’t really notice much except faster performance with lower CPU usage.
The only change in interface is an additional column called ‘ActiveX’ that having default option of ‘Disable’ for new script entry, whereby system will always opt to run with V8 engine by default. You only need to turn it to ‘Enable’ when the script involved ActiveX function call. So it’s advised not to mix ActiveX functions with other codes in one script. If you have the passion for speed & performance like us, do keep scripts with ActiveX as short as possible and as little as possible.
- Added V8 engine making IGX one of the SCADA that having fastest scripting engine.
