Offline activation is useful when the machine designation for site use does not has internet access. Under this circumstances, the project cannot be activated online. To workaround this limitation, user can use the following steps to perform offline activation:

Export license request to a license request file (*.ilr) from the source machine.

Copy the license request file to another machine with internet access (the activation machine).

Purchase license keys on the activation machine with internet access.

Use the Activate another project function in license manager to open the license request file and activate the project with license keys purchased.

A license authorization file (*.ila) will be generated at the activation machine.

Copy the license authorization file back to source machine.

Use the Import license authorization function in license manager to import the license authorization file to activate the project on source machine.
